How i do i trace someone who is calling by using voip raider software ?

Monday, January 12th, 2009

I suppose, many of you would have used voip raider software. How could you trace someone who is using voip raider software for phone calls ?

They cannot easily be traced - by the average person.
But, I expect if the authorities got involved, they can trace back to the exchange that terminates the calls. Then, they will find out the calls originated from VoIP Raider. Then they will contact VoIP Raider and have them trace which of their users made the calls. So, I think it is possible, if they want to put forth the effort.

which is more telling, a mirror, a camera or a video recording ?

Monday, January 12th, 2009

I've seen all three of myself, in the mirror, on camera and on a video recording. I find myself to be the best looking in a mirror. I can handle the way I look in the mirror, but especially in pictures
I think I look ugly. So which more telling, the camera or the mirror or the video recording ?

Actually, your image in the mirror is seen in reverse. That is the way you see yourself most often and the way you think you look. The still photo or video is the way you do look. The video recording contains the most information and would be the most telling.

What are the best free voice recording programs available on the internet?

Monday, January 12th, 2009

I'm planning on recording myself siging to send to someone who is wanting to hear, but I don't own a recording studio–just a microphone. What are some good, free programs online that will allow for the quality of my voice to sound clear and sharp, instead of buzzed and unclear? I'm trying to make this sound professional. I do NOT want editing software! Not trying to improve my voice or anything… :)
I recommend Audacity. It's good for Mac, PC, Linux, etc. and is free.

While it's a sound editing program, it's also really good for making high-quality voice recordings. Then you can easily export the sound to MP3.

Also, if you're having trouble with getting clear sound you may want to check your microphone and perhaps replace it if it is old or broken.

You can get Audacity at: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Good luck.

When recording video, how do you have audio only playback with video?

Monday, January 12th, 2009

I’m a DJ and I wanna video record one of my sets on my new HD camcorder. I want to be able to playback the video on my TV but want strictly audio playing while watching without all the background noises, echo’s etc. the camcorder picks up while recording. thanks in advance!

Your requirement makes no sense. The camcorder records what it records. If you want audio from the camcorder it will playback what the camcorder recorded - you can’t “take out the background noise” if the camcorder recorded it.

If you connected an audio cable from your sound system to your camcorder then the camcorder mics would not pick up the room noise… but that assumes the sound system was correctly connected to the camcorder and your camcorder has one or more audio-in jack and the audio levels captured by the camcorder are at an appropriate level and not over-saturating the camcorder’s audio system.

For playback, since you don’t want video, just connect the audio jacks - to a sound system… or even the TV.
