At Least 5 Benefits of Using a Virtual Business Phone System

Monday, March 9th, 2009

Most companies rely very much on using the phone as the main means of communication. If this is your reality, you really ought to see if an Internet based phone system for small business might be able to enhance your existing small business phone service. There are several ways that your company will benefit from the functions that come with a virtual phone system.

Here are 5 benefits a virtual phone system can offer your business:

1. One number, multiple extensions - One phone number can be used for several employees or departments. With a virtual phone system for small business, inbound callers have the option to decide on the routing of their calls, which means they call a single number, but can get a hold of anybody in your business.

2. Automatic call answering - Received phone calls are answered automatically, and routed without the need for an extra employee. This gives you the option of not using an actual receptionist that answers calls. Calls get sent to the correct employee, which you are in total control of.

3. Forwarding of calls - A virtual telephone service gives you the ability to route calls to other phone numbers. This means that you can be on a business trip, yet still receive any phone calls destined for your extension. Another option is to have calls routed to a different location after hours, giving customers the ability to call you at anytime.

4. Make a big impression - A operation can have the appearance of being larger than it truly is by making use of a virtual PBX phone systems solution. A caller can have the choice of being routed to different departments, making it appear that your company is very large, yet you could have very few employees.

5. No money spent on upgrades - You are never having to upgrade your telephone system hardware or software when you use a virtual phone system. Because all software is hosted by your service provider, and you are using your already existing phone lines and equipment, the system is updated without you having to do a thing.

A virtual small business phone system can bring incredible benefits to your business telephone service, at a low cost. You don’t have to put up with a generic business telephone service when there are options to greatly grow your telecommunication power by making use of a easy to work, inexpensive Internet based phone solution.

You Need Magic Jack VOIP System To Communicate With Everybody

Saturday, March 7th, 2009

Tell a person to stop using his handy cell phone even for just one time and he will surely send you text messages until you throw up. Tell some computer geek to stop using VOIP or Voice Over Internet Protocol and he will low-level format you. Tell a busy investor to stop from checking his e-mail for messages just for one minute and he will surely send you spam messages more than you can ever imagine. Communication today is very vital for everyone, not only for businessmen and executives but for housewives and students as well. It will not be an eyebrow-raiser if you can see a bum on the streets holding a cell phone calling another bum and asking if they still have plenty supply of gin in a trash bin. BT Helping Out in the Credit Crunch

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

One of the most annoying things is when you have a car accident you desperately need to ring your insurance which is a 0800 number, but your mobile phone provider still charges you for this. We know that ringing 0800 numbers will cost you a fortune because you will be on the line for ages.

But thanks to BT things could be changing, they have recently announced that they will be the first company in the UK to offer free 0800 number calls. This is a great step for the company to make especially now during the credit crunch when people are trying to save as much money as they can.

There is nothing worse then trying to get hold of your broadband supplier or call a plumber when your phone says “the call will be charged at standard rate” or “You have no calling credit, please arrange a top up”.

So will other companies follow in BTs footsteps? Well only time can really tell but it is something that everyone should take note of. The public have for so long been paying ridiculous rates for free phone numbers and it is just so not acceptable at all.

Another great approach by BT is that Millions of BT customers will no longer have to pay to call numbers starting with 0870 and 0845 after Britain’s biggest landline supplier announced it would abolish call fees to the controversial numbers.

Starting on the 16 January, around 14 million customers with any of British telecoms call deals will benefit from free calls to what are normally premium rate lines.

I believe this is all thanks to the government who announced a big review of charges that are being made to a 0800 phone number, 0844 numbers and 0845 numbers. This is great news for the public but not for companies who have been making a healthy profit.

How To Prevent My Xbox 360 From Freezing Up?

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

“Why is it that my Xbox 360 keeps freezing up?!” Is this the biggest frustrations you ever had since you started playing console games? I can bet more than 50% of Xbox 360 users are experiencing this Xbox 360 freezing up problem, so if your Xbox 360 keeps freezing up, you actually have a few options to stop xbox 360 from freezing up that you can do all by yourself.

During the whole troubleshooting process, there is one main reason my xbox 360 keeps freezing up - Overheating!

We all know that Xbox 360 is a simplified version of a high end gaming PC. Whenever you play games with very high requirements it will get busy on the components inside and guess what - your Xbox 360 over heats and freezes!

One of the things that I’ve done to prevent my Xbox 360 from freezing up as often as it did is to let it “breathe” more. Well, you can certainly achieve this by not keeping your Xbox 360 in a closed cabinet while you’re playing, and put it some where that allows ventilation to cool the system better.

Besides that, the another reason I’ve suspected on why my Xbox 360 keeps freezing up is the internal hardware that is malfunctioning. You’ll know when it happens because your Xbox 360 will freeze up and shows you the 3 rings of death.

For this, you are left with 2 options, either you send your Xbox 360 back to Microsoft for a $140 fees plus 6 months of no gaming, or you can fix the Xbox 360 freezing up problem yourself. However, the electronics of Xbox 360 are not as simple as you might thought it is, a small error could damage the whole system.

Xbox 360 keeps freezing up no matter what you’ve done?

Learning from a step-by-step Xbox 360 videorepair guide is by far the best way you can do to save your time and cost to fix your Xbox 360 from freezing up. There are many guides out there that shows you how to open up your Xbox 360 and repairing it, but most of them don’t include clear videos on the actual process.

A high-definition Xbox 360 video repair guide is exactly what you’ll need to start working on it, all by yourself without any fancy tools, all you need are simple household tool kits.

Fax is Still Key to Many Businesses

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

Email may have supplanted facsimile transmission in personal communications, but in several crucial business sectors fax is still the preferred transmission option, especially for those organisations that require paper documentation for statutory or legal requirements. Lawyers or solicitors are professions that still insist on paper.  Banks, the health service and your local GP are others that require communication in hard copy where there is a clear audit trail.
Integrating fax in your existing IT infrastructure is therefore still an issue to consider.   Fax to Email capability is one effective and efficient way of conveniently integrating communications technologies and avoiding additional costs by not having to purchase dedicated fax equipment.
Fax to Email presents incoming faxes as email attachments. It’s a quick, convenient and confidential way of receiving, storing and forwarding important fax documents. t also beefs up security as confidential faxes no longer sit on a shared, public fax machine.  Using Fax to Email services Your “fax machine” is never engaged and incoming faxes are immediately flagged for your attention on receipt.Filing and accurate archiving also becomes much simpler with Fax to Email services.
Fax to Email services can also be integrated with VoIP telephone lines,   cheaper than conventional PSTN and you can receive many faxes simultaneously (unlike most fax machines) without worrying about running out of paper or toner.Fax documents are pre-scanned for storage in TIFF format so they can be printed out easily.  Using VoIP Fax to email services means voice and fax calls can be treated differently, so the same telephone number can be used for both - your customers are diverted to a member of staff for voice calls while incoming faxes are diverted to a mailbox and stored.
Setting up a Fax to Email service is remarkably simple and costs as little as 40 pence per day to operate. In fact, depending upon the number chosen to run your service, there might even be revenue paid to you.service setup, alerts and administration is normally free from reputable VoIP and IP telephony companies.
