Is it possible for an iPhone software update in the future to make it capable of recording video?

Currently, the 2MP camera in the iPhone only takes still pictures. But my question is, is it even POSSIBLE for Apple to turn this camera into a video camera through an iTunes update? Or will video recording capabilities be reserved for a future version of the iPhone altogether?

I've been pondering the same thing. There's speculation of an update for this sometime early next year, and yes, it would be possible to enable this via update.

    My friend knows a guy from Apple and he said he couldn't tell me much but he did say alot more things will be added and there will be one huge surprise!
