Is it illegal to have voice recording cameras at work?
our owners just put in voice recording cameras at our work. I thought that it is an obstruction of privacy or something even if we are told they are present. I live in florida btw.
As long as they notify you of their existence and they are not in any areas where privacy is expected (bathrooms for example), they are perfectly legal… They MUST inform you as to any policy for the use of the cameras and how the information gathered will be stored and used.

The owners have the right to install any type of security equipment they deem necessary. With all the problems in the work force they are there for your protection as well.
