What is the best way to make a voice recording file of my own voice ?
Are there any free voice recording software programs that allow you full usage rights to their programs and are simple to use and have good quality ? I am looking for something basic to record my voice for videos I am making on You Tube..Most of the programs I have tried so far had very poor quality and my voice came out distorted or did not allow me full usage rights. Thanks for your replies
Windows comes with a sound recorder
Programs-Accessories-Entertainment-Sound Recorder
If your mic is good, then it should sound fine in that.
After you record what you want, you can edit in this program with full rights.

I use a programme called "Sound Recorder", it came free with Windows XP and I use my web cam to record my voice (it has an in-built mic), but I'll proberly invest in a better mic for my PC for better sound quality.
If you have Windows installed on your computer I would say it is on your computer, just use the search assistant to find it.
